The cherry blossom front travels from south to north over roughly forty days each spring. This journey has one design goal: to keep you standing at its leading edge the whole time.
The skeleton
- Days 1–3 — Begin in Fukuoka with Kyushu’s early blossom, while we track the forecasts ahead
- Days 4–6 — Kansai: night blossom in Kyoto, mountain cherries in Nara (which temples depends on that year’s timing)
- Days 7–9 — Kanto: a night cruise on the Meguro river, old trees in the low city
- Days 10–12 — Tohoku: Hirosaki or Kitakami, and the final full bloom
House rules of this journey
The itinerary is only finalised ten days before departure — the blossom does not consult itineraries. Every hotel and every Shinkansen seat is held on changeable terms, and we charge nothing to move a date. This is the hardest route we build, and the one we are proudest of.
This is the skeleton of a journey that happened exactly once. Yours will begin from a blank page.
